Hanjin Shipping Selects New Candidates for Overseas Research Program

September 26, 2000 - Hanjin Shipping has selected seven staff members
to be dispatched overseas for the Regional Research & Development Prog
ram. Leaving in late October, they will be dispatched for six months t
o examine and study current shipping markets in the region of destinat
ion, as well as become familiarized with the country's culture while l
earning the language and all manners of business.
Launched in 1994, the Hanjin Shipping Regional Research & Development
Program allows successful candidates an opportunity to share ideas, bu
ild relationships and become a first-hand participant of the growing g
lobal village. As a special note, each candidate, who was selected out
of more than 60 applicants, will be among those visiting Chile, China
, Finland, Hungary, and Venezuela, Vietnam.
