[ Maersk Line upgrades East Australia Service ]

Maersk is pleased to announce an upgraded service in the North and Eas
t Asia/East Australia trade. Customers in the trade will be offered th
e fixed weekly service with competitive transit times in all major cor
ridors as well as expanded port coverage. The enhanced service will re
place the current Vessel Sharing Agreement with Blue Star and Cho Yang
. Cho Yang will continue to be in Slot Charter Arrangement with Maersk
.
The service will be fully operated by Maersk with following rotation:
Yokohama, Osaka, Hakata, Busan, Kaohsiung, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane
and Yokohama.
In addition to an improved coverage of North and East Asia, the servic
e will improve coverage of the U. S. and European markets with excelle
nt connections via Maersk Line’s global service network. The enhanced
service will commence October 15 with the first sailing from Yokohama
