Pan Ocean Plans to Start New Service in Japan

The Pan Ocean Shipping Co. Ltd. has slated new services to start in la
te July or early August for Pusan/Himeji/Tokuyama, and Pusan/Isikiri/S
akata by deploying one vessel in each trade route to enhance customer
services through trade route variety. The Pan Ocean Shipping Co. has o
ffered the service to call on Ningbo from last May, following the open
ing of trade routes to Shiamen, Suntou, and Huzou in South China. It a
lso plans to participate in the Pusan/Posyett trade route by forming a
consortium with 7 Korean shipping lines.
By adding this new Japan service, the number of ports to call in Japan
will increase from 10 to 14, and in China, from 7 to 8.
