Hyun re-elected KSA president
The Korea Shipowner's Association (KSA) renamed present president Hyun Young-won the 23rd president of the KSA by unanimous consent. President Hyun may have taken office for a year because he took over the president's duties when former president Cho Soo-ho resigned from his post late in 1999, leaving only one more year to his term. President Hyun may take office as KSA president for three years until January 2004.
The KSA also appointed new managing directors Park Chan-jae and JeongHae-ryong. The Korea Shipowner's Association set by unanimous consent the basic plans and the budget for the year in a regular general meeting held at the KSA building January 18th, 2001 in which 35 representatives from Korean out-going shipping companies were present.
They also approved the main business results and account settlements in 2000.
