Malaysian shipping companies under negotiations with SHI and HHI
The Malaysian International Shipping Corporation announced on June 16 huge plans designed to allow it to jump into the top levels of the shipping industry.
The shipbuilding industry said that this company is under negotiations with Samsung Heavy Industries and Hyundai Heavy Industry to build four 7,200 TEU vessels with an investment of 270 million dollars. These 7,200 TEU vessels are larger than any vessels in Malaysia.
This company has 27 container vessels now, with the biggest one being a 4,500 TEU vessel.
