Korea Express starts 'timed parcel service'

Korea Express revealed November 10 that they would provide a 'timed parcel service' to help customers receive parcels at specified times of day from December.

The service will deliver parcels according to the customer's life style by dividing the day into 3 parts, morning, afternoon and night. Customers can then specify when they wish to receive parcels.

One insider from Korea Express said, "Revisiting customer addresses exceeds 10% of all deliveries because many customers are out for one reason or another, be it a dual-income family, related to the 5-day work week, or what-have-you," and added, "We expect several benefits from the service such as cost reduction as well as one-stop work handling."
