KLC orders vessels for new business expansion
Korea Line Corporation (KLC) announced that it ordered a 105,000 dwt mid-size tanker to be delivered in 2008.
The company has ordered tankers to pioneer new business through their LNG business know-how, expecting good results from petrochemical goods export expansion plans for the Middle East. KLC expects that adding tanker business to their portfolio will positively compliment their existing bulk and LNG business.
One insider from KLC said, ?e have 28 bulk ships and LNG ships. We are strengthening our position in the energy and source transportation business by expanding into oil transportation.?
