KCTA, conducted Gwangyang Port promotion campaign
Korea Container Terminal Authority (President: Chung Yee-kee) joined “Sea Port 2007(Port, Logistic & Environment Technology Exhibition)” held at Busan Exhibition and Convention Center (BEXCO) from October 24 to 27 and actively promoted Gwangyang Port in the exhibition.
During the exhibition in Sea-Port 2007, one of the three exhibitions under an umbrella of Marine Week 2007 (Busan International Shipbuilding & Marine Festival), the KCTA posted personnel in charge of the promotion booth.
The personnel explained to 40,000 visitors from 40 countries Gwangyang Port’s unlimited potential for global logistics hub port equipped with such favorable conditions as capacity to handle 5.5 million TEU in 16 berths after completion of Phase III-1 Terminal, various incentive for port users and 4 million㎡ of distripark.
In addition, the KCTA hosted “Gwangyang Traditional Maesil (Ume Fruits) Tea Sampling”, “Impromptu Photographs with Gwangyang Port” and other activities for the visitors, boosting the promotion during the exhibition.
The KCTA is now aggressively promoting various authority-wide marketing strategies to lure more cargo to Gwangyang Port, and will continue to aggressively participate in various international events to promote Gwangyang Port’s dynamic development for global logistics hub port.
