Hamburg Sud with new liner service between Asia and India / Pakistan
Commencing July 11th, 2008 Hamburg Sud is launching a new service between Asia / Far East and India / Pakistan with simultaneous sailings from Port Kelang and Shanghai.
The new, weekly fixed-day service comprises two slings and provides direct connections between PR China / Hong Kong / Taiwan and the Indian subcontinent. In addition, this new service also ensures good onward connections to Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific coast of South America.
Sling 1 has the following port rotation: Shanghai - Ningbo - Hong Kong - Singapore - Port Kelang - Nhava Sheva - Port Kelang - Singapore- Hong Kong - Shanghai.
In Sling 2 the port rotation reads: Port Kelang - Singapore - Colombo - Karachi - Mundra - Tuticorin - Port Kelang.
In this sling Hamburg Sud is providing one vessel with a slot capacity of 1,500 TEU.<Korea Shipping Gazette>
