CMA CGM Currency Adjustment Factor (CAF) available on-line
In view of the expiration of the Liner Shipping Conferences on the European Trades, CMA CGM announced that has already published its BAF formula.
In order to provide greater transparency for its customers, CMA CGM is publishing its CAF, which is now available on line and will be effective as of October 1st for all CMA CGM Lines.
To reduce the complexity, only 3 CAF levels will be applied.
One for the Europe - Asia / Asia - Europe Trade (Asia, including Red Sea, Gulf, Sub Continent) and Europe - East Africa Trade (SB)
One for the Europe : French West Indies Trade
One for the Europe : French Guyana Trade
The CAF is adjustable monthly with one month notice. The calculation is based on the monitoring of the daily exchange rate over a monthly period.
