KOREX and Global Enterprise, win-win situation for each other
KOREX (Korea Express) announced that it would lease the 23rd berth on the second wharf of Gunsan Port to Global Enterprise on May 6.
KOREX was chosen as a TOC (Terminal Operation Company) for the 22nd and 23rd berths on the second wharf of the port on February 25 of this year. It will hire out the 20,000 ton class 23rd berth to Global Enterprise.
The 23rd berth has a 5,000 square meter apron, 21,249 square meter CY (Container Yard) and a warehouse.
Gunsan Regional Maritime Affaires & Fisheries Office received the KOREX lease announcement on May 6.
Global Enterprise has also hired out the 58th berth on wharf 5 of the port,. Two companies are pleased with the arrangement, calling it a win-win situation for each other and Gunsan Port.
