Mega carrier Maersk Lines born Feb 2006
From February next year, the Maersk Sealand and P&O Nedlloyd brand will be unified as ?aersk line?
Maersk Sealand announced the merge with P&O Nedlloyd is almost complete.
After Feb 2006, Maersk Sealand and P&O Nedlloyd will be known to the world as a Maersk Line and the two companies' services will be united.
For this unification, P&O Nedlloyd secedes from the Grand Alliance and consortiums it has joined.
But in Feb 2006, the two company's services will be maintained separately. In this period P&O Nedlloyd will end its business with Grand Alliance and other consortiums.
The unification of the two companies will be completed by the end of next year.
