MOMAF celebrates 10th anniversary
MOMAF (Ministry of Maritime & Fisheries) celebrated its 10th anniversary on August 8.
The 10th anniversary ceremonymwas held with 150 shipping and fisheries related attendees at its office.
Minister Kim Seong Jin said in an address, “We have to reform the organization and policies to become the world’s fifth largest shipping country in 10 years,” and continued, “We need to strengthen our capabilities and lead with changes and innovation.”
Over the past 10 years MOMAF has arranged systems for managing all kinds of maritime affairs including ocean environmental concerns, ocean territory, ocean science and technology, fishing, shipping and port businesses.
