HMM christened 'Hyundai Glory'

Hyundai Merchant Marine christened a 4,700 TEU containership the ‘Hyundai Glory?in the Mitsubishi Heavy Industries dockyard Oct. 28 with 100 visitors including Jeong-Ik Noh, president and CEO of HMM.
HMM ordered the Hyundai Glory from Mitsubishi Heavy Industries in Nov. 2001. It measures 294 meters in length, 21.85 meters in depth, and has a cruising speed of 25 knots.
Especially, the Hyundai Glory is the first vessel HMM has ordered from abroad. HMM has ordered and built over 100 vessels through Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The Hyundai Glory is scheduled for completion and deployment by Feb. 15, 2004.The vessel is scheduled for deployment in trade between Asia and North America where rates are showing quick recovery.
