KSA hold PSC public rehearsal with Pos Ship Management Co,. Ltd.

A Port State Control (PSC) public rehearsal was held November 25th on "New Concord", which is a ship under Pos Ship Management Co,. Ltd.'s control in Pusan Port's anchorage. Pos Ship Management Co,. Ltd. specializes in ship security controls. Both the process and the preliminary examination of PSC were shown. This aims to give opportunities to benchmark for exemplary security-minded shipping companies.
In the meantime, MOMAF is striving to improve foreign ship security that are out of PSC. Consequently, it was a partnership of government and non-government agencies.
The attendees were 14 security and shipping service directors from 8 shipping companies. Under the supervision of Pos Ship Management Co,. Ltd.'s PSC director, the process of Port State Control (PSC) was reported. And then a public PSC rehearsal was shown by a Pusan MOMAF PSC inspector. There were lots questions and answers about PSC as well as vigorous discussion between the inspector and attendees.
