[ Multibulk Centre Certified ISO 9002 ]

The Multibulk Centre sited in the industrial port area on the south b
ank of the Le Havre Grand Canal has just been awarded an ISO 9002 cert
ificate by the Transport and Logistics Committee at AFAQ (Association
Francaise de l’Assurance Qualite). Furthermore, AFAQ has confirmed th
e certification granted last year for the loading of bulk cereals.
The Multibulk Centre is equipped to handle all types or bulk commodit
ies and foodstuffs. It began operating in 1985 and is accessible to sh
ips of up to 170,000 dead-weight tonnes. The public wharf is equipped
with two transporter cranes (30 tonnes and 15 tonnes) and there is als
o a reloading facility for barges and coasters.
