Unico Logistics and KWE establish joint venture in Moscow
Unico Logistics Co., Ltd., and Kintetsu World Express have decided to establish a Joint Venture Company under the name of ?OO Kintetsu UNICO Logistics? in Moscow this July.
Initial investment capital will be Euro 1.2 million (US$ 2 million) under the same capital share between UNICO and KWE.
The joint venture will focus on trucking for domestic / overland overseas and warehouse operations. Firstly, the company will purchase 20 transport trucks (trailer plus container chassis) by the end of August ?8.
As Unico Logistics of the CIS is a top ranking carrier and with KWE as special logistics for trucking & warehousing, the new venture is expected to do well as it draws on the various strengths of its parents.<Korea Shipping Gazette>
