New LNG Vessel for Korea Shipping named in Okpo Daewoo Heavy Industries

Korea Shipping had a naming ceremony for the new LNG (Liquid Natural G
as) Vessel at the shipyard of Okpo Daewoo Heavy Industries, Koje, in t
he southern part of South Korea. This LNG vessel was named as "Freesia
" by Mrs. Kyungshim, Kim, a wife of Korea Gas Corporation president, H
an Gap-soo.
This vessel will serve the route in the Katar and Inchon/Pyongtaek are
a and carry 600 thousand - tons of LNG a year for 25 years.
Korea Shipping has operated the Akasia in the trade of Indonesia/Oman
and Inchon/Pyongtaek since this January.
