HMM achieves 93.6 billion KRW operating income in third quarter

HMM announced its third quarter business results on November 14, 2007.

Operating income for the quarter was 93.6 billion won, a remarkable 649% increase compared with the period for the previous year. HMM also achieved 1.34 trillion won in sales, a 9.1 % increase from the same period last year.

During the third quarter of this year, sales amounted to 3.66 trillion won, a 3.8 % increase from last year's figures. Operating income increased 104.3 % to 211 billion won. Pre-tax profit marked 181 billion won and net income 163 billion won, up 19.8% and 15.7% respectively.
