Kuhne+Nagel expands in Duisburg
Kuehne+Nagel has officially opened the latest expansion of 42,000 m2 of its logistic centre in Duisburg logport. A large part of it is used as distribution centre for Germany, Austria and Benelux for a large customer in fast moving consumer goods.
Some 11,000 m2 is available for new activities of existing and new customers. In addition to the current 100,000 m2 in Duisburg logport, Kuehne+Nagel operates 60,000 ß≥ warehouse space in Duisburg-Blumenkampshof for an international company in the high-tech sector. It serves Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
At Duisburg logport intermodal, Duisburg Intermodal Terminal offers train and inland shipping connections with the port of Rotterdam. To and from Blumenkampshof, several multimodal terminals, such as DeCeTe of ECT, in the central port area can be used. <Korea Shipping Gazette>
