[ Hapag-Lloyd: World Premiere for ISO 9002 Quality all Along

Hapag-Lloyd will be the first company in the international transport
business to obtain ISO 9002 registration for its entire liner shipping
product - the door-to-door transport chain.
This step meets the constantly rising demand for standardized quality
pledges in the transport market. In contrast to its competitors, who
have thus far only registered individual locations or functions, Hapag-
Lloyd has taken a more comprehensive approach.
For the first time ever, all areas participating in organizing the trans-
port chain have been registered simultaneously according to the inter-
nationally recognized ISO norm.
