New Minister of MOMAF Takes Office

Muhyun Noh was appointed the new minister of the Ministry of Maritime
Affairs and Fisheries in the course of changing cabinets.
Muhyun Noh was born on August 6th, 1946 in Kimhae, Kyungnam province.
He became a judge in the Taejon Provincial Court in 1977 and was elect
ed to the 13th National Assembly in April 1988, running as a Unificati
on Democratic Party candidate in Pusan. He also became the youngest hi
gh commissioner in the Democratic Party. In November 1997, he took hi
s post as vice president in the New Policy People Party.
