Korea Business Systems Launches "Logis Link" as of Late August
"We are going to focus on the development of additional services and p
otential customers with the foundation of basic services and regular c
ustomers. We have planned to grow as an Internet logistics specialized
business with forwarders," said YongPil Kim, president of Korea Busin
ess Systems Co., Ltd. "We are prepared to strategically cooperate with
Hanjin shipping, Korean Air, KT-Net and to pave the way for new busin
ess with Logis Link, and acquire absolute competitiveness," he added.
Recently Korea Business Systems successfully revealed "Win-Sabis", a p
rogram dedicated to sea and air transportation forwarding businesses.
Kim, who has worked with forwarding program development for 15 years,
is busy with the final workings of Logis Link, an Internet portal site
scheduled to appear on the market at the end of August.
Logis Link helps to manage documentation of export and import by conne
cting "Win-Sabis" system of forwarders with relevant government comput
er system or shippers's system. It will make possible to process real
time all kind of export and import jobs by integrating export and impo
rt process through Internet.
Main functions are transportation business counseling, MSG communicati
on, shipping documents filling and S/R sending, B/L confirmation revis
ing and printing, cargo tracing, supplying for bank negotiations. It s
eeks to shorten processing time.
