Rickmers appoints new chairman

As from January 1st, 2001, the Management of the Rickmers-Linie GmbH & Cie. KG will be comprised of Bertram R.C. Rickmers as Chairman of the Board and Andreas Hildebrandt and Herbert Steuber as Managing Directors.

A Hildebrandt will concentrate on developing new business fields for Rickmers-Linie with a clear focus on the P.R. of China, whereby H. Steuber, longtime General Manager, will be responsible for the liner trade. Furthermore Andreas Elger has been entrusted with the Management of the Marketing/Sales activities and Wolfgang Harms has been appointed General Manager of Operations. In order to internal procedures relating to the individual services in Liner Management remain unchanged. The area of Finance/Controling and Personell remains unchanged under the Managent of Rudiger Gerhardt.
