Hanjin Shipping has recently signed an agreement with K-Line (Kawasai Kisen Kaisha Ltd) to operate a new service between Japan and Thailand called the Japan - Thailand Express (JTX) Service.
The service will be a weekly fixed-day operation served by three ships of 1000TEU-class.
The rotation of port of call is as follows:
Tokyo - Yokohama - Shimizu - Nagoya - Hong Kong - Laem Chabang - Bangkok - Laem Chabang - Tokyo
On May 6 2001, the first sailing will take place from the port of Bangkok on the 1,000TEU containership, M/V Java Bridge.
Hanjin Shipping's new JTX service will offer customers a wider range of choices, complementing the already extensive service network offered by Hanjin Shipping in the Asian regional markets.
