CFS Container cargo storage completed in Inchon

An official Container Freight Station (CFS) in the port of Inchon was completed January 22 and came into operation.

This CFS took KRW 1.5 billion to build and is within the Container Yard (CY) in the international passenger ferry terminal in the Southern Inchon Port. It is capable of handling 70,560 TEU annually in an area of 1,190 square meters.

Accordingly, consolidation and sorting of container cargoes that has previously been done outside the port will now be done inside the port, saving an estimated KRW 600 million annually.
