Stevedoring rates hikes 5.8% on general wharves

From March 20th, stevedoring rates at the Pusan general wharves increased on average by 5.8%.

Pusan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries allowed the 5.8% stevedoring rates hikes for container and general cargoes in the Port of Pusan, regardless of general stevedoring, special stevedoring, and coastal stevedoring from the 1st harbor to the 4th harbor. Therefore, the rates for 20 foot container cargoes increased to 30,043 won from 28,396 won.

In the mean time, BCTOC, PECT, Uam Terminal and Kamman Terminl hiked their stevedoring rates by 4-5% on average earlier this year.
