[ Dongbo Shipping to be ANL’s new agent in Korea ]

ANL Limited’s Chief Executive, Mr Roger Perkins and Dongbo Shipping C
o. Limited’s Presedent, Mr Y. J. Lee today announced the appointment
of Dongbo Shipping Co. Limited as ANL’s new agents in Korea.
Mr. Perkins said that he was pleased with the new assotiation with Don
gbo Shipping Co. Ltd, a leasing Korean agency company formed in 1961.
Mr Y. J. Lee said his company welcomes ANL as principal and looks forw
ard to the opportunity of working as agents for the Australian Nationa
l Line.
He said the appointment of Dongbo Shipping Co. as ANL’s agent would e
xpand business opportunities for traders in both Korea and Australia.
Mr. Perkins commented that in discussions with ANL’s customers, they
had been very supportive of ANL’s new Korean agency representation.
Mr. Perkins said ANL and Cho Yang amicably separated after Cho Yang, A
NL’s previous Korean agents, decided to operate as an independent.
ANL’s largest and most technologically advanced ship, the “Australia
n Endeavour” is deployed as part of the six ship ANZESC/ANSCON Confer
ence service which offers a weekly service to and from Korea.
Both Mr. Perkins and Mr. Y. J. Lee look forward to the future and the
mutually beneficial relationship which this assotiation will create.
