Ju-young Lee retains position as minister
Ju-young Lee retained his position as the Minister of Oceans and Fisheries.
President Park Geun-hye announced a cabinet reshuffle on June 13.
After the Saewol disaster, the minister had several times expressed his intention to resign. However, fearing a vacuum in administration, Ju-young Lee was excluded from the cabinet reshuffle.
The Minister of Trade Industry & Energy, Yoon Sang-jik, and Minister of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, Suh Seoung-hwan, were also excluded from the cabinet reshuffle.
Minister of Oceans and Fisheries Lee Ju-young said, "I will work hard to rectify the accident. After that I will be faithful the minister's mission."
