Masan Port plans to issue invoices for port usage fees
Masan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries announced that it would expand its post-paid wharfage system to more shippers effective March 14, 2001.
Masan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries changed the system to improve service quality. Previously, those handling over 10,000 tons of cargo in similar items, or who used the state-owned port facilities free of charge, were permitted to be invoiced, paying wharfage later. Except for them, it was required to pre-pay for wharfage.
Masan Regional Maritime Affairs and Fisheries loosed its limit to over 5,000 tons. Government investment bodies and container shipping liners calling at Masan will benefit.
