Transshipment cargoes constituted 23% of total cargoes in Kwangyang during January

During this past January, the Port of Kwangyang handled 58,668 TEU of cargoes. Transshipment cargoes occupied 23 percent or 13,280 TEU.

According to the city of Kwangyang, the Korea Express terminal handled 25,505 TEU of cargoes, including transshipment cargoes of 48.8 percent, or 12,435 TEU. The Hyundai Merchant Marine terminal handled 10,992 TEU and the Hanjin Shipping terminal 11,527 TEU. The Sebang terminal handled 10,644 TEU, with few transshipment cargoes.
