Evergreen realigns Pacific services to improve vessel utilization and transit times
Evergreen has announced the realignment of two of its transpacific services effective May 2001. The changes are part of an ongoing effort on the part of Evergreen to improve vessel utilisation, reduce transit times and streamline services for its customers.
The existing six-ship HTW 42-day service will now provide a 28- day round trip trade route, utlizing four 25-knot vessels serving Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Los Angeles, Kaohsiung.
The TPN service will also offer a 28-day round trip and will be serving the ports of Kaohsiung, Hong Kong, Osaka, Tacoma, Vancouver, Kaohsiung. The newly realigned service will deploy four 25-knot ships.
