Airfreight Rate Slated to Rise 10-15%
Domestic airliners announced they will raise airfreight rates 10-15 pe
rcent from 16 September.
Korean Air, Asiana, and other foreign airlines plan to increase rates
because of high oil prices and expectations of space shortages in the
second half of this year.
Airlines registered the rate increases with the Ministry of Constructi
on and Transportation on Aug 3rd. The MOCT said that it will allow thi
s rate increase if there is no problem in registered content.
