Pusan comes up with PA system

The city of Pusan is organizing a lobby group to push for the quick establishment of a Port Authority System.

Mayor Ahn Sang-young held an emergency meeting in Pusan City Hall with Pusan congressmen Sohn Tae-young and Huh Tae-youl, chairman of the city council, Kwon Young-jeok, the representative of the Pusan Development Institute, Lim Jeong-dok, and representatives from each of Pusan's regional media organizations.

In this meeting, PA implementation procedures were examined and solutions sought for obstacles and countermeasures against recent government actions.

The event precipitated from negative opinions regarding the PA and lukewarm government reactions to it preventing the establishment of the PA this year.
