Slot exchange agreement in the Far East Middle East Trade
P&O Nedlloyd Container Line, NYK Line and Hyundai Merchant Marine are, from this month, entering into a slot exchange agreement with their respective services in the Far East Middle East Trade.
The co-operation will allow the Lines to optimise port calls in China and the Middle East, and add a Kwangyang call in Korea. The new product provides the market with 'best of class' services from China and Korea to the Middle East.
The new service rotations will be:
KMS Service - operated by Hyundai Merchant Marine:
Inchon (Mon/Tue), Kwangyang (Wed/Wed), Pusan (Thur/Fri), Keelung (Sat/Sun), Hongkong(Mon/Mon), Yantian (Tue/Tue), Singapore (Fri/Sat), Port Klang (Sun/Sun), Colombo (Wed/Thur), Jebel Ali (Mon/Tue), Port Rashid (Tue/Tue), Dammam (Wed/Thur), Karachi (Sun/Mon), Singapore (Sun/Mon), Hongkong (Thur/Thur), Inchon (Mon/Tue).
GKX Service - operated by P&O Nedlloyd and NYK Line:
Ningbo (Sat/Sat), Shanghai (Sun/Mon), Yantian (Wed/Wed), Singapore (Sun/Sun), Port Klang (Mon/Mon), Jebel Ali (Tue/wed), Dammam (Thur/Thur), Bandar Abbas (Fri/Sat), Singapore (Sun/Mon), Ningbo (Sat/Sat).
The new co-operation starts with the following vessels on the westbound service:
