Sungwoo Agency Contracts as Agent with NPSC

The Sungwoo Agency contracted with NPSC on August 2nd and started to s
erve in North American trade routes. This service will start on August
12th with a regular container service between Pusan and Everette/Seat
tle on the North West Coast of the U.S. It is not a direct service bec
ause cargoes for Everette and Seattle will be transshipped in Kobe.
The 1,100 TEU capacity vessels, the "M/V Everette" and the "M/V Nagoya
", will be deployed in this trade route and will call twice a week fro
m Kobe to Everette. Transit time from Pusan to Everette will take 16 d
ays. Inland transportation will be available using an MLB (Micro Land
Bridge) service to New York, Chicago, Vancouver, Toronto, and Montreal
from Everette. The Sungwoo Agency said that it would be possible to c
arry bulk cargoes using special containers. They are going to call dir
ectly in Pusan from this December.
