IRA increases EBS of $75/TEU
Arising from a recent review, the Member Lines of the Informal Rate A
greement (IRA) wish to announce that the Emergency Bunker Surcharge (E
BS) will be increased to $75 per 20 and $150 per 40 with effect from
20 November 2000. The EBS is applicable for all shipments to the Midd
le East. The increase in EBS will only cover part of the escalation in
fuel costs.
