Heung-A launches new service north of Tokyo

Heung-A shipping will open a new service trade to the Tohoku region, located north of Tokyo, from this February. The port rotation will be Pusan/Sendai/Onhama/Hidachinaka with the 'M/V Heung-A Tokyo' being deployed in this route on a weekly schedule from Feb. 9th. Adding these three ports to its Japan service routes brings Heung-A shipping's total served ports in Japan up to 30 from 27, giving Heung-A the most ports of call in Japan among Korea/Japan trade liners. An official from Heung-A said that actually, Tohoku is located so far away from Korea that it has failed to attract many shipping liners.

However, Heung-A shipping will make doing business in Tohoku more convenient for shippers by broadening their choices.
